Nya- Simone Caldwell is a Shreveport, Louisiana native and has always had a passion for impacting the world whichever way she could. As she's gotten older, that aspect of her passion didn't whither, but expanded with her energetic and vivacious personality. Currently, she attends Howard University, studying Political Science and African American Studies. At the end of her matriculation at Howard, she hopes to find herself in a dual JD/MBA program in order to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a civil rights attorney, specializing in penal reform and opening up many business, including a homeless shelter. Her passions have led her to start her own non-profit organization, Love University, that teaches about the importance of self love and having an active voice as a young woman today and start an app that promotes young entrepreneurs. She is also proud to be apart of various other organizations that help with the advancement of youth. She feels whether they are incarcerated or excelling in school, one of her missions in life is to be a helping hand to youth however she can. One of the quotes she lives by is, “She believed she could, so she did!”
