Julissa Gearing

JJulissa Gearing is currently a senior at Howard University. Hailing from sunny Escondido California, she was born and raised by a mother, her Head Nurse role model, and a father who is a retired Navy Boatswain Mate. She thrived all through high school in academics and a multitude of sports. Ultimately, she wanted to attend a college located somewhere completely out of her norm. Subsequently, she decided to travel across the United States to enroll in Howard University with a loan and a dream. Her major is nursing and her minor is psychology. Gearing decided to execute her dream of serving others by becoming the President of the National Council Of Negro Women Howard Section, Flight Commander for Air Force ROTC Detachment 130, and becoming a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated Alpha chapter. Once she leaves Howard University, she would like to be a trauma nurse in the United States Air Force, traveling the world to save lives regardless of religion, race, or social status.

Julissa is engaged to the love of her life, Harrison A. Morrow, COO and fellow Board Member of Reach.
