Abisola Atilola is a current junior at the illustrious Howard University, majoring in Health Science and minoring in Biology. Abisola was born in Nigeria, moved to the U.S. through a Visa lottery her father won, and now resides in Rahway, New Jersey. She understands that this move was not by luck, but apart of a greater plan destined by God. After graduating as Salutatorian of her high school class, Abisola continued to make great accomplishments including: attending Howard as a Capstone Scholar, serving as Executive Vice President of the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences Student Council, participating in clinical research under the Comprehensive Medical Mentoring Program, and now a pharmacy technician. Abisola aspires to one day become a distinguished physician to tackle global health disparities. However, her biggest aspiration in life is to establish a self sustainable non-profit health facility in Nigeria, that focuses on providing top tier medical services, and increases health literacy among the community. To ensure those dreams become reality, Abisola continues to build upon her current leadership skills through her campus and community involvement, excels academically, and invests her time in tackling health disparities that exist domestically.
